Price and Cut Breakdown for Bulk Beef Orders
These guidelines are based on average or approximate weights of our beef and lamb. Weights may vary and as a result, prices will too.
Whole Beef = 600 lbs. hanging weight (hanging weight is taken after the animal is skinned, gutted, decapitated, and hung for cooling and drying)
600lbs.x $2.85/lb. = $1710
+ 600lbs.x $.40/lb = $240 (processing)
+ killing fee $50
Total $1970 (or approxmately $$5.75 / lb. of take-home beef)
Half Beef = 300 lbs. hanging weight
300 lbs. x $2.85/lb. = $855
+ 300lbs. x .40 / lb. = $120
+ killing fee $25
$1000 (approx. $5.75 / lb. of take- home beef)
Quarter beef = 150 lbs. hanging weight
150 lbs. x $3 = $450
+ 150 lbs. x $.40 = $60
+ killing fee $12.50
$522.50 (approx. $6.10 /lb. of take-home beef )
** Remember the meat you bring home is approximately 55-60% of the hanging weight. The price per pound above is based on the approximate amount of meat you will take home; not the hanging weight. **
